System Model and Participants

Time is measured in block numbers and timestamps, acknowledging drift. Off-chain artifacts are content-addressed (IPFS/Arweave). Hashes are collision-resistant. The chain provides ordered, immutable events with probabilistic finality [2].

Participants:
  • Job Poster: Defines tasks, escrows MORPH, sets acceptance criteria and challenge window Tc.

  • Robot Agent: Software on-device or in a secure controller; holds keys, collects telemetry, and submits evidence.

  • Robot Operator: Owns/manages robots; stakes MORPH; bears slashing risk.

  • Oracle/Verifier: Independent services that evaluate evidence and emit on-chain attestations.

  • Watcher/Challenger: Any account that monitors and challenges submissions with bonded counter-evidence.

  • Settlement Contract: On-chain state machine for jobs and funds.

  • Reputation Registry: On-chain scores for robots and operators; queried by matching and payouts.
